   300 words about Making

I know I said there was no challenge this year, but if you know Lori Tulloch, you will know she is a troublemaker, with a lot of great ideas. Sew here we are with a new and interesting challenge.

Making! it is what we do, and you are invited to share your stories about Making in 300 words or less with us and Saskatchewan Stitches Conference participants.

Your story can be funny, sad, poignant or anything in between. We know you all have a story about making and we want to hear it! All stories will be read and/or displayed at the 2024 Saskatchewan Stitches Conference. And there will be prizes and winners will be published (with permission) in A Needle Pulling Thread Magazine.

It is simple. All you need to do is type up your story and forward it to us as a word document, if you have a photo to go with it, please send that along with your Name, address, and telephone number. Please email your stories to haus.stitches@sasktel.net with the Subject line “Making Story”, before May 1.

We are excited to join Janome Canada, and Sew and Sew Skill Labs this year to collect supplies for their I love First Peoples program at the 2024 Saskatchewan Stitches Conference.  You can click on the link below for complete program and donation details.
